If your head is spinning trying to understand what type of edible best suits your needs, take a look at our handy edibles guide below.

Follow These Steps to get started:

  • Read the label carefully so that you know the quantity as well as the number of servings of your edible.

  • Start with a single serving of 5 milligrams of THC or less.

  • Wait to consume more for at least 1-2 hours after initial consumption.

  • Plan accordingly! Consuming edibles can take up to four hours to kick in, however they have a longer duration period of up to eight hours. Make sure you are in a safe space where you can stay until the effects of the edible can wear off.

  • Lock up your edibles in a place that is out of reach from children or pets.

  • If your pet has consumed an edible, especially a chocolate-based one, contact your veterinarian or pet poison hotline immediately.

  • If your child has accidentally consumed an edible, STAY CALM. While edibles can produce intense effects, no one has ever died from taking them. Call the poison hotline or take your child to the emergency room if symptoms are particularly bad.

  • Do not drive or operate any heavy machinery if you have consumed an edible.

  • Avoid mixing your edible with alcohol or prescription medication.

  • Do not consume edibles if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
